(remember a Kp index from 4-6 (yellow/red) should be visible to camera and still above the horizon and >6(red) should be visible to the naked eye , at our location(55 degrees N))

Chance of CME(Solar Flare) on its way  (Accurate to +/- 7 Hours) Chance of aurora if it facing towards earth.Check the events at the bottom. Check the above video for explanation of size class of flares.(C,B,M,X) "There are multiple activities undergoing in the sun. The Visible light takes 8.3minutes to reach the earth . But the prominent activity is of Coronal Mass Ejections which roughly travel at velocities around 300-700km/sec and some more than this value. So it can take as long as 1 day for Coronal mass ejection to reach earth. Roughly it takes around 15hrs or so for CME to reach earth" - Akshay Deoras

 

Check the BZ component (Better chance of visible aurora if BZ is in the minus)
