COMPETITION TIME

Pixcam in conjunction with the local photographers of the Buncrana Camera Club have been holding an exhibition in the Pixcam shop (Railway Rd. Buncrana) of some of their work over the last month.
This exhibition comes to a close on Saturday 4th May but there is still a chance to own one of these fine pieces of local art.
Simply head down to Pixcam and purchase a line of tickets for €2 (3 lines for €5) to enter the draw to WIN a mounted and framed picture of your choice from those exhibited.
The winner will be drawn by our gracious hosts during the Camera Club's weekly meeting on Tuesday May 7th in O'Flahertys bar
Winners will be notified thereafter

To get cooliris to work so as you can view gallery photos on a 3D wall (especially good for viewing large galleries) download the appropriate addon for your particular browser then click on any one of the small cooliris icons (1st icon) which are below each of the photos in every gallery page . (Note . to scroll across the 3D wall hold down the left mouse button and drag )

Members feel free to post a couple of your best photos from the BCC field trips here in the BCC Field Trip Photo Forum and guests feel free to browse .
Added a Recommended Weblink and is renamed to A Must for Beginners 3 - The Light Meter , i also if you've time read some of the other links on the website for this particular link as it has some great explainations of the basics of photography and has some great practical exercises also .
Changed the camera simulator to a different one which includes spot metering.
Added a few more weblinks to do with this weeks club meeting on Camera Lenses.
